Indu shekher Jha, the Founder Principal of College and Chief Executive Officer of Power Grid Corporation On the advice of and assistance from the Late Dr. Rajendra Prasad the first President of India,
Impart a quality of education in commerce and management of the state in the state the institution was later enrich with the faculty of Science in 1957 follow by Arts in 1960 and Law in 1963.in the defense of letter of Education Department, Government of Bihar vide letter no. 15/M1-125/2015-74 dat 16/01/2016 and Magadh University, Bodh Gaya Memo No. VC/Res/06/16 date17/01/2016, the name of ‘College of Commerce, Patna’ is changed as “College of Commerce” Arts & Science, Patna.
