Delhi University Eligibility – Check for Merit/Entrance Based Courses

DU Eligibility 2023 must be checked by candidates before filling the application form. Delhi University (University of Delhi) is one of the famous universities of India. The University offers various undergraduate, postgraduate & doctoral courses in the area of Science, commerce, arts, etc. The admission into these courses will be based on merit & entrance exam conducted by the university. Delhi University (DU) Eligibility 2024

The admission into B.Tech courses is done on the basis of JEE Main score except B.Tech (Information Technology & Mathematical Innovation) course. The eligibility criteria are mentioned below:

Delhi University 2024 Registration for UG & PG courses is started from May 2024. Candidates are able to fill the application through online mode.

For UG Courses (Merit Based):

Students have to pass their 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board.
There is no minimum age bar limit to get admission into UG course in the University & its colleges (except in profession courses). Gap year(s) would be no bar for purposes of admission to the undergraduate courses.

For UG/PG Courses (Entrance Based):

There is no minimum age bar limit for admission into UG & PG courses in the university & its colleges (Except in the courses where regulatory bodies are MCI, AICTE, BCI, NCTE, DCI, etc).

B.Tech (Information Technology & Mathematical Innovation)/ BA (Hons.) Humanities & Social Science	Pass 10+2 examination with Mathematics (Appearing candidates can also apply). Marks Requirement: General Category: 60% Marks (in four subjects including Mathematics). OBC category: 54% Marks (in four subjects including Mathematics). PwD/CW category: 57% Marks (in four subjects including Mathematics). SC/ST category: Passing Marks with Mathematics.
BA (Hons.) Multimedia/Mass Communication	Pass 10+2 examination. Secure 75% Marks (for general category) aggregate in best of four including 85% marks in English.
BMS/BA (Hons.) Business Economics/BBA (FIA)	BBA Admission Pass 10+2 examination. Secure at least 60% marks (55% marks for SC/ST/OBC).
B.Ed	Cleared bachelor or masters degree in Science / Social Science /Humanities/ Commerce or any equivalent stream.
MA	Pass bachelor’s degree.
MCA	Pass Bachelor degree or an equivalent degree. Secure minimum 60% marks in aggregate.
M.Tech Microwave Electronics	Pass M.Sc (Electronics) or M.Sc (Physics) with specialization in Electronics. OR Pass B.Tech/B.E (Electrical/ Electronics/ Electronics and Communication/ Instrumentation Engineering). Secure at least 60% marks or an equivalent grade.
M.Sc	Pass Undergraduate degree. Appearing Candidates can also apply.
M.Com	Pass B.Com/B.Com (Hons.)/B.A (Hons.) Economics/ BBS.BBA/BBA/BIFA/BBE.
LLB	Pass Graduate / Post Graduate Degree. Secure 50% marks (General), 45% marks (OBC), 40% marks (SC/ST).
LLM	Pass 3/5 years LLB degree. Secure 50% marks (General), 45% marks (OBC), 40% marks (SC/ST).
M.Ed	Pass B.Ed, BA B.Ed, B.Sc B.Ed, B.El Ed and D.El Ed with an UG degree securing 50% marks
Master of Physical Education	Bachelor of Physical Education or B.Sc in in Health and Physical Education with securing 50% aggregate.
Master of Library & Information Science	B.L.I.Sc. degree or any bachelor degree fulfils other conditions of eligibility for admission to B.L.I.Sc. Must secure 60% marks (general) & 50% marks (reserved categories).
